1981 Sandor
Soeth entered the world of film by accident as first time
actor starring in the Hungarian movie “TIME STAND STILL”
(Dir.: P. Gothar, Script: G Bereményi, DOP: Lajos Koltai)
which has turned out to become a cult movie since then. The
film won amongst others the 1982 Award of the Youth at the
Cannes Film Festival, the New York Film Critics Circle Awards
as the Best Foreign Language Film, and at the 1985 Tokyo International
Film Festival the Best Director Award
